B. Massa Weeks
Hello! My name is B. Massa Weeks, a Liberian tech leader and social impact advocate. I am the Founder and CEO of Girls in Technology Liberia (GITL), a nonprofit organization that has empowered over 700 women and girls with digital skills and tech training. I currently serve as the ICT Director at the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection in Liberia, where I lead national digital transformation initiatives. I also founded the B. Massa Weeks Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting disadvantaged and disabled children with educational resources, food, and care.
I hold a Master’s degree in Software Engineering, a Postgraduate Diploma in IT, and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. With 12+ years of experience, I have led impactful ICT projects across government and nonprofit sectors.
I’m now seeking Ph.D. opportunities in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning, with research interests in ethical AI, infrastructure security, and inclusive digital systems.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, watching movies and traveling.
